In need of a smocked fall dress? This Smocked Ruthie would be a perfect fit! This pre-pleated kit comes with pre-pleated fabric and necessary items to create this picture look. We used the smocking plate as included in the Smocked Ruthie Add-on. Be sure to check out all of our Ruthie products including the base/add-on patterns and video lesson which are not included with this product. Kits are available in 2 size groups: 6mo-3yrs, 4-8yrs.
*Your fabric will arrive in 3 pieces. One piece is for your bodices, sleeves, ruffle neck and bias bands. The remaining pieces are your skirts. They will be pleated with 8 rows across the top of the fabric. For the front skirts, mark the center. Your pleater threads are long enough for you to pull excess from the center and clip the threads. Cut this panel in two from top to bottom. You will then refer to the measurement chart in the Smocked Ruthie instructions to know the width tie off the front and back skirts before smocking.
